ASIA EXECUTIVE CAREER BRANDING, COACHING AND COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY

Coaching is quickly becoming one of the leading tools that successful people use to live extraordinary lives.

Through weekly/monthly coaching sessions, my clients identify what is most important to them and align their abilities and skills, values, and actions accordingly.
As your coach, I work with you to identify what you want personally and professionally, and support you in achieving a life that you really want, love and treasure.
Having a life you love starts with gaining clarity on your values, enabling more meaningful choices and consistent action.
Your commitment to your life through coaching offers a focused and self directed answer for more balance, joy, intimacy, energy, financial abundance, focus, and action in every area of your life.

As Your Coach I Will:
♦ Work with you to discover the goals and craft the vision that you truly want (many are clueless)

♦ Partner you to achieve those goals and work towards the vision  (successful people want to be accountable to someone)
Develop you to be insightful, sensitized, self-assured, purpose-driven and other traits to build your valuable Personal Brand (high achievers are often misunderstood by others and branding is critical)
Identify possible ways and approaches to increase your Personal Brand Value and support you in creating, developing and attaining your value (achieving your “bigness” require lots of support)

How Is Coaching Different From Therapy Or Consulting?
Coaching is not therapy, which goes into depth about various issues, usually dealing with the past, nor is it consulting which generally results in giving the client answers.
Coaching is more action-oriented and focuses primarily on the present and future. As your coach I function like your sounding board; providing insights which you may not see, developing your potentials which you are unaware of, clearing your fears or negative energies when you are stuck.

Who Works With A Coach?
Entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and people in transition are some of the people who typically work with a coach. Regardless of their professional status, ambitions or achievements, all of my clients have one thing in common: they are all successful, resourceful, and intelligent individuals who want to get even more out of their lives.

Which professional athlete hasn’t used a coach to win?
Tiger Woods is already one of the best, and yet he understands the value that comes from having someone work directly with him, someone to point out things he can’t see, someone to keep encouraging and challenging him to achieve his greatest potential.

And the truth is the greater you want to achieve, the more you need someone to walk with you as the journey ahead can be a lonely, challenging and at times, an overwhelming one.

You can have many advisors and mentors but an experienced coach would be the one who is sensitive to your needs and more importantly, sensitized to your environment. He knows your pace, your capacities and even your fears. In other words, he knows how and what to strengthen you in your journey to reach your desired vision.

And that’s who I am to you.

Benefits Of Working With A Coach
Coaching is proven to work when two factors are present:
The client is willing to learn, grow, and take action (your commitment to yourself)
There is a gap between where the client is now and where the client wants to be (your vision)

That’s all that is necessary for a successful coaching relationship where you can develop the right strategy, implement a plan of action, and achieve your goals. Anything is possible within our coaching relationship.

With a coach, you can
√    Take More, Better, and Smarter Actions
Our first task together is to find out exactly what you really want for yourself. Once you create objectives that are clearly in line with your personal values and professional vision, you are much more likely to naturally and consistently take actions to reach them.

√    Have A Balanced Life, Which Works Well
Professional success is maximized when you enjoy a sense of personal fulfilment and life balance. We will discuss how to be selfish yet responsible, and how to carve out enough time so your life outside of work is exactly the way you want it to be.

√    Make Better Decisions
I will help you become focused as you share ideas with me. I will understand you and be subjective enough to want a lot for you, yet objective enough not to be biased or self-serving. You’ll also find that just talking about your options with someone who really listens is often enough to clarify things.

√    Reach For More — Much More
When you have a partner you trust, you will reach for much more because you can afford to. Are you ready to think big and really live your life fully? I am a partner who will enable you to take your life wherever you want it to go.

√    Make And Keep More Money
Most people are worth a lot more than they are making. Are you happy with your financial situation? If not, we can look at your beliefs about money and address whatever is keeping you from experiencing financial abundance.

√    Have More Sustainable Energy
Together we’ll identify the things that drain your energy, and create a long-term strategy to eliminate them. In addition, we’ll focus on the things that give you energy, and explore how to maximize their impact. When you're happy, productive, and free from tolerations and problems, life is a lot more fun!

How I Coach My Clients
As your coach, I will inquire, encourage, advice, challenge, make requests and listen for the truth so that you remain aligned with who you are, your goals, your values and your vision.

My focus will be completely on you and what you want in life. I stand for you first and foremost, not just your goals.

The coaching relationship is designed by both of us, and may be refined through ongoing two-way feedback. Even though I am committed to the journey, you will ultimately be responsible for actions taken (or not taken) in your life throughout the process.

◊    Building A Relationship of Mutual Trust & Respect   As Asians, mutual trust and respect are important ingredients for a positive relationship. My first task is to develop that positive coaching relationship with you through an informal environment of knowing each other better. This will be a great opportunity for us to be comfortable with each other outside of our professional domains. Hopefully, in our natural selves, both of us can find that special window of common interest or passion or vision. And with that, a desire to work with one another to create a better future for you.

◊    I Design The Pace, You Refine The Race Having worked with senior executives and entrepreneurs before, I have realised that each individual works differently. Everyone has different motivations, goals and visions. Each client requires a different expertise from the coach. While some prefer lots of directions, others are happy with hearing ideas and insights from the coach. While some want to achieve more challenging and impossible goals in the shortest time, others are happy progressing at their pace with less but more rewarding goals. Some are doers while others are thinkers. Each client is so different. Others have shifted less while some already had big shifts in their lives. I belong to that second group.

Which is why understanding the client’s internal operating system is so important to me.

So while I may initiate the structure and pace, the client has to periodically refine the way we work together to get the maximum leverage out of the coaching process. It is better to enjoy the journey of coaching than to endure the process of achieving result

◊    My Style Is Fun, Inspiring & Yet Challenging & Stretching
And I MEAN IT!!

You can be assured that it will not be boring so be prepared for the time of your life. Just an indication, I love the outdoors as much as the indoors life. I cycle, jog, swim, dive, play soccer, tennis and currently I love to work out in my own home gym. At home and on weekends, I love to karaoke, play table soccer and just chat. On Mondays to Fridays, my family eat healthily like salads, pasta, steamed fish and chicken but on weekends, we treat ourselves to the local delights and buffets! We take juices both in the mornings and evenings and consume fresh fruits at least once every day. I was appointed an officer while serving National Service in the Army and then was promoted to Captain during my Reservist days. I represented my schools in soccer, cross country, track and field and inter school debate.

And my point is

Life itself has no meaning. It is just an entity. To give it an identity, you would have to create a meaning, a tagline for it. Such as life is fun or life is boring or life is healthy or life is rewarding or life is fulfilling, etc. What you get out of your life will inevitably be what you have first put into it. Heard of GIGO? (garbage in, garbage out or greatness in, greatness out). In other words, you reap what you sow.

So when you are with me, rest assured that life will never be the same again. Because I will be sowing something so powerful into your life that you will then be reaping something powerful as well! And if you belong to the group who are even more passionate about life than I am, then I say let us empower each other to achieve even greater shifts in our lives!

The point is let us work together in such a way that when the coaching contract is over and done, your life will be so powerfully transformed that many will be awed by the new YOU, Inc !!

Best Of Coaching Includes A Structure & Framework

With a structure, coaching can operate in a focused direction with high efficiency and effectiveness. This does not mean that there is no flexibility. On the contrary, creativity and possibility thinking (using mind mapping) are possible in an environment of peace, calm and relaxing moods. In those situations where brainstorming of possible solutions is needed to tackle the extreme challenges, then both you and I need to explore the use of natural tranquil spaces to tap our creative energies. In most coaching sessions, they would take place through phone calls, emails or face to face conversations. The structure for each session looks like this:

♦ Recap main points of previous session
♦ Identify wins and developmental areas
         ♦ Review of assignments
♦ Converse of current topic, issues, challenges (as already determined by you earlier in the week)
♦ Acquire new learnings from the exchange
♦ Set goals to practice the new learnings
♦ Client’s clearing of mind (free play) like downloading of negative energies, sharing of new and exciting developments
♦ Feedback of current session and dissemination of home work
         ♦ End of coaching session

The framework for each coaching session centres on this 1-2-3 approach
                                Thinking        ►         Behaviours         ►          Outcomes
                                                     Drives                             Produce

As Descartes said, “As A Man Thinks, So Is He”

To enable you to shift your behaviours to increase your capacities, there is the need to renew your mind to embrace the new truths which would convince you physiologically to change your behaviours or habits.

As the saying goes, we are very much creatures of our own habits. So the idea is to challenge the thinking which caused you to form those habits especially if they are working against you in achieving your goals. Your new thinking patterns will then be able to drive the desired behaviours producing the desired results.

Do not be alarmed if your previous winning strategies, mental models, ladders of inference and other self limiting truths are called into question. Key point is given a blank sheet of paper, what would you describe the new YOU, Inc?

How To Get The Most Out Of Coaching

I want you to benefit greatly from our coaching sessions and the time in between. This guide briefly outlines some of the things you can do to maximize the value of your coaching experience.

º    Come With An Open Mind  Successful people are great at making sense of the world around them and finding those opportunities to create value for the people they serve. Managing contradictions and diversity of views, dealing with ambiguities and paradoxes are critical skills towards developing a flexible and open mind. As you come for the coaching session, prepare yourself mentally to accept a new thinking which will shift you to a greater understanding of the environment around you.

º    Focus And Focus On Those Goals Which Increase Your Brand Value  As successful individuals, I believe it is not so much a question of setting goals, for where you are today is a reflection of your abilities to be efficient and effective. Rather, are you setting goals which are aligned to your values and life purposes to achieve that desired Personal Brand? And have you been “merciless” in dropping those time bombs which are diminishing your value?

Time is finite and if you are a doer, have you been trying to be all things to all people and in the process, you find yourself spending time on things of little value to your Personal Brand?

If you are a thinker, have you been thinking of that “BHAG” (big, hairy audacious goal) that you find yourself being overwhelmed just by the thought of it and nothing came out of the idea?

People in the second group are your typical Ideapreneurs.

The challenge is transferring ideas into workable solutions and implementing them.

Often, overuse of strength becomes a weakness.

There was this mid-level executive who was spending so much time building his “life significance” value by participating in volunteering services for social enterprises that his own career aspirations were affected. Unaware that the company was unhappy with his productivity, his job was terminated during a restructuring exercise.

Perhaps, his values and passions have changed, or he has lost his career direction, or the lack of a vision caused him to lose his focus.

The importance of reviewing your vision, your goals and engaging a coach to “clear” your mind periodically is crucial as you grow in your life. Often what’s holding you back to your successes are your conflict of values, inability to manage the work/life balance and lack of a Personal Brand to align your vision to.

º    Bring A Serious Commitment To Commit To Coaching
Coaching in itself has no meaning other than another form of self development. But when coaching produces a tangible value in a person’s life, it makes all the efforts worthwhile. If you experience a greater value in your life, then inevitably, the benefits of that value would flow to your professional life (your work, team, organisation, or company), your family (wife, children), peers and relatives and the list goes on. I am a beneficiary of coaching and my family, friends and clients have benefited tremendously from my perspectives, insights and intuitions.

So your commitment to coaching is in fact an investment in your life and to the people around you. It is a wonderful and powerful value proposition, knowing that a transformed executive or entrepreneur through coaching has within his/her hands to positively impact others. It is no longer just about YOU, Inc but is also about OTHERS, Inc. That’s my primary motivation to work with you.

That you can make a significant contribution to others and help make your place of influence a better place for everyone to contribute.
